ABOUT US

Sprint Logistics is an integrated supplier of logistical services mainly in the Richards Bay and Durban areas. We pride ourselves in providing end to end services for clients ensuring that their needs are met and that their operations are taken care of under one umbrella. This entails transportation and movement of product from plant through warehousing and onto a vessel vice versa.

Sprint Cold Logistics

Sprint Cold Logistics is new cold storage facility specializing in the citrus export industry. We pride ourselves in providing citrus clients with an efficient cold chain solution. We currently provide existing clientele with the options of in/out bound operations without the stress of being bottlenecked during peak season. Trucks are accommodated within our large yard space thereby eliminating the road congestion experienced at the other existing facilities .Fruit is placed immediately into the cold rooms which are operated on the mole racking system. The mole racking is state of the art as it ensures minimum handling by forklift and thus prevents damages. The cold store is designed around operational flow ensuring fruit is stowed on arrival and required temperatures are achieved within minimum time. During the first citrus season (2016) Sprint Cold logistics has achieved a zero claim season-this will be the target for all future seasons to come.

Being a privately owned company Sprint Logistics has quick decision making power and a hands-on approach to the operations and is always in touch with client’s needs and requirements.

Over the years, we have developed an impeccable reputation with both clients and suppliers by constantly adapting our service offerings in line with market dynamics.

Warehousing – bulk and bagged product

Bagging of product
Containerizing

We do the above with the following infrastructure:

Warehouses and open storage areas
Weighbridge
Machinery for handling, eg payloaders, telescopic handlers, forklifts etc

Cold Store

Our operations are as follows:

Unpacking of containers/ breakbulk
Loading of containers/trucks
Cold storage/bondstorage
Warehousing and transport supply chain

We do the above with the following infrastructure:

33000 Sqm warehouse and cold store
Yard space to accommodate +/- 50 trucks and 200 containers
Plug in points for 54 reefer containers
